Rating: K - Intended for general audience 5 years and older. Content should be free of any coarse language, violence, and adult themes.Words: 683A translation of Loving You by CutesyMe [AO3]., Jaehee : « Vous avez l'air si bien ensemble.
Je n'en vaux pas la peine, MC.Rating: K+ - Suitable for more mature childen, 9 years and older, with minor action violence without serious injury. May contain mild coarse language. Should not contain any adult themes.Words: 290A translation of You Don't Understand by marigoolds [AO3]., « Restez-vous loin de moi. « Laissez-moi tranquille. Arrêtez d'essayer de vous approcher. » Je me déteste.

Movie Night | Yoosung x Reader (Mystic Messenger),Movie Night | Yoosung x ReaderF/N held up three fingers. “Three episodes, that’s all I ask. If you don’t like it after that we can watch something else. Whatever you’d like.”Yoosung scratched the nape of his neck nervously, eyebrows drawn up. “Really? You want to watch an anime for Valentine’s Day? I thought you’d want to go out to eat at an expensive restaurant or see a romantic comedy. Something more … conventional?”“I don’t need anything special Yoosung. I have you!” When the blonde gamer blushed, F/N continued. “And what could be better than ordering in and watching anime? That’s a little slice of heaven right there!”“Alright! Alright!” Yoosung giggled. “You’ve convinced me! So what’s this anime you’re dying to show me?”F/N held up a Blu-ray case with a flourish and Yoosung blinked. “Sword Art Online?? That isn’t very romantic for Valentines….”“Have you ever watched it?”“Well no, but… I’ve heard it’s an action adventure.”F/N shook her head. “Trust me dear- it’s got romance. I also think you’ll like it because of the main plot line too. Just give it a try, I promise you’ll like it. And if you aren’t sold after three episodes we can turn it off! Win-win!”Yoosung seemed skeptical but held up his hands in surrender, sitting back on the couch. “I give up. Okay F/N …let’s give it a try.”~ ~ ~ ~ ~1 Season later….In the final moments of the last episode, you could have heard a pin drop. But as the credits rolled and the end theme played, Yoosung erupted, unable to control himself any longer.“F/N!!”“Yep.”“WHAT??”“I know right.”“WHAT??” When F/N snorted with laughter, he continued in a flood of words. “That was amazing! Having the video game be real?? So jealous! But then being trapped inside it and having to beat the game to go home was so intense!! And Kirito and Asuna!! They are so cute as a couple!”F/N listened to his rambling happily offering her agreement. Sword Art Online was a pretty good show, but she’d mainly suggested it for Yoosung’s sake. He was such an avid gamer that she knew he’d love the premise. But now as he gushed over the characters, she had to admit that she hadn’t thought he’d love it quite so much. It was utterly adorable.“So I take it my choice for Valentine’s wasn’t a bust?”“No, no! It was perfect!” He reached out to take her hand, before he visibly drooped. “.... I’m just kinda sad there isn’t more to watch. I got so attached, ya know? I feel a bit empty now that it’s over...”F/N squeezed his hand gently, before she let go and stood up. Telling him to be patient and wait, she disappeared into her room once again. When she came out, she held several more Blu-rays in her hands, grinning wickedly. “Oh, I dunno. . . You up for seasons two and three?”Yoosung’s jaw dropped before he cheered and glomped F/N, making her cackle. “YESSS~! So much YES! I LOVE YOU!!”F/N pinched his cheek with a snicker. “I love you too, ya cute cinnamon roll.”

Revealing a Trade SecretSummary: Hyun and MC are dating in secret. He wants to protect her, and she wants to give him space to pursue his dreams. This situation does not satisfy either of them.Rating: K+ - Suitable for more mature childen, 9 years and older, with minor action violence without serious injury. May contain mild coarse language. Should not contain any adult themes.Words: 1800Notes: So, after a normal ending. I thought that it’d be nice! Enjoy., MC sighed heavily. She is feeling lonely. Her eyes followed the snow that was falling slowly outside her window, placidly accumulating on the corners of the apartment complex. A faint, melancholic smile was gracing her lips, the TV that she had turned on just a few minutes ago was relegated to be only background noise. When she had laid down on her sofa, she wanted to watch another episode of her favourite TV show. She had the snacks and the hot beverage to prove her intentions. However, her mind was taken somewhere else. She thought back to the day, she had last seen and heard of Hyun. He had left before Christmas to work on location up the mountains, for a new drama that is supposed to launch in the summer season. Due to a busy schedule, a controlling director and the spotty reception, they had little opportunity to talk, even on the phone. Now, a good chunk into the New Year, and she is beginning to feel the absence pronouncedly. To say that the two of them are in a relationship is not quite right, but the pair have not been just friends in a long time either. The man himself uses verbs like “dating” or “going out”, but he is usually skittish on actual commitments and labels. She, in turn, would say to her friends and family that they were “getting to know each other” and “seeing whether they are really compatible”. Two years in, and the excuses are growing thin. Alas, they kissed, they cuddled, and they had sex. It was something like a secret and forbidden relationship, but also casual like a friendship with benefits, something so amorphous that she could not really define what it is, nor what she wanted to change. In truth, MC wanted it all with him. She wanted that relationship that so many of her friends were in. She wanted to wake up with him by her side. She wanted to go out on official dates, wanted to support him and visit him in location and the set as his real girlfriend. When she expresses this desire, when they first started this whole situation, Hyun had told her that a relationship was not his priority, that he wanted to keep his personal life and his professional business separated. It crushed her heart, it really did, but she was understanding. She let him go, she refused to breath down his neck, she made no imposition on his time and his attention. She does not call, she does not send texts, and she only responds to whatever contact she receives with no demands. She behaved on the way someone like Jaehee wanted her to: a discrete, unassuming presence on the edge of his life. She sought to give him the freedom that he wanted, the liberty to fly away across the world on a day’s notice to shoot a movie or whatever. MC is forcing herself every day to not pick up her phone and call him back home on the first flight. This is what he wanted, right?, Hyun was sitting on his sofa, his phone in his hand which he intently stared at. It was one of his few and rare moments of quiet in his shooting schedule, but he consistently wastes them all doing the exact same thing, day in and day out. He wants to be mad at it, mad at MC, mad at himself, but he cannot escape the same addiction he developed over those months. He had her Instagram profile opened, looking at the pictures she had posted. She is not an active user, so he rarely had new material for him to appreciate, but he saw the same photos, on the same order, again and again, always with renewed fascination and zealous vigour. A soft smile graced his lips as he saw a picture, a few scrolls down the diminutive timeline. He took that one a couple of months ago, when the two of them were out and about. Yet, no one really knew about that. Naturally, MC appeared alone in the frame. Naturally, because Hyun does not want anyone to know about her. He does not feel like he was ready for a real relationship, not on an emotional sense and not on a material sense. He has just moved into an above-ground apartment! What sort of miserable life he can provide someone with? At the same time, however, he loved having her around. He loved the way her lips melted into his whenever they shared a kiss. He loved the way she fits perfectly in his arms whenever she sat down on his sofa while she wanted to watch a movie. He loved the way she made him feel whenever they were intimate with each other, the way her kisses burned up his whole body and the way her hands delicately touched every inch she could reach. He loves her, he wants to keep her with him, and he is keenly aware that he is not without competition. The actor had wanted to contact her so many times, he wanted to bring her with him wherever he goes so much, but he had been a coward this whole time. He feared her reaction, he feared rejection, and even if she wanted him as much as he wanted her, he feared what he could do to her. Public humiliation, the loss of privacy, harassment, poverty… Everyone had an opinion, everyone had something to say about how he treated his… Well, girlfriend, for lack of a better term. He knew it all. Yet, it still tore him apart. Just as he wanted to close the app again, Hyun refreshed her page once more, suddenly noticing that she had posted a story, something she had not done ever since the two of them lost contact, three weeks prior. He immediately clicked on her profile picture, wanting to see what MC had posted. Once he clicked on it, he could not help but smile. She had posted a video, showing the snow outside her window. A little heart decorated a corner of the screen, a Blues wintery tune was playing in the background. Hyun looked out the window. It almost snows all the time in this altitude, at this time of the year. He had not even realized that it might not snow in Seoul, that it is a bit off-season to still be so cold. Taking a quick glance at one of her pictures again, he quickly put his phone away and jumped up from the sofa. He needs to get off this damn mountain., Winter meant drinking even more tea than usual, hence why MC stood in her kitchen, boiling some water when she suddenly heard the front door resound with dull knocking noises, repeatedly feverishly against the wood.Confusion was written all over her face as she slowly made her way across the apartment to the door. She is not expecting anyone that day. Once she opened it, her eyes widened at the sight in front of her. “Hyun?” The woman asked in disbelief, looking at the tall actor in front of her. He looked paler than usual, his helmet hanging perilously on his arm as he shakes slightly. There were little snowflakes that were slowly melting, gracing his coat, and his hair was wet in places. “Hey, MC.” He said quietly, looking into her eyes, his hands buried deep inside his coat pockets. “Uh, come on in. It’s freezing.” She invited, opening the door a bit wider to let him walk inside the house. Hyun quickly discarded his coat as well as his shoes, rubbing his hands together to get warm again. “Do you want some tea?” She offers. “I was just about to make a cup for myself.” The man nods, disjointed. “Yes, please, but this is not the reason why I’m here. I need to talk to you.” The two of them walked into the kitchen before MC got two mugs out of the cupboard, putting them on the counter afterwards. She looked up at Hyun, who stood still in the doorway, watching her silently but attentively. “What did you want to say?” She questioned, waveringly. She nervously bites her lower lip as she wondered why he suddenly wanted to talk to her, after three weeks of not contacting her at all. “I was an idiot.” The pale man stated, his voice clear as a bell. He walks farther into the kitchen, stopping right in front of the counter she is standing at. “I thought that I didn’t want a relationship, that all I needed was my acting, but I was wrong. So wrong.” Hyun said, averting his eyes. “MC, I need you in my life. You’re the reason why I was so happy these two years since I met you. You are the person I think of when I wake up, the person I think of whenever I sing or say a line, and the person I think of when I go to bed.” MC stared at him in disbelief, tears welling up in her eyes as she quickly looked down and tried to swiftly wipe them away. He walked around the counter, taking one of her hands in his. His other hand found a spot on her cheek, lifting her head up to wipe away the tears with his thumb. “I just want you to know I’m in. I’m all in. I want the whole world to know that I’m yours and you’re mine.” He whispered. She looked into his eyes, wanting to see if this was all a dream, that he was only joking but all she could see was sincerity. “Oh, Hyun.” She started. Before she could finish her sentence, though, she felt his soft lips on hers. She immediately wrapped her arms around his neck, his arms around her waist as he pulled her as close to him as possible. Their lips were moving perfectly in sync as she played with his ponytail at the back of his head. When he pulled away, Hyun leaned his forehead lightly against hers. A bright smile was gracing her lips as she opened her eyes and looked up at him. “Thank you.” MC whispered, pressing another soft kiss on his lips. “I’m glad that you are here now.” “Are you?” He asked, cocking his head to the side. She nodded her head, a teasing smile gracing her lips. “Yeah. Think of how dull your life would be without me.” Hyun could not help but laugh, shaking his head as he still looked deep into her eyes. “Well, you’re not wrong.” He said, his lips finding hers again. The tea that MC wanted to drink was long forgotten in the sink.
Motorcycle AccidentSummary: Hyun never had an accident before. He is due to having one.Rating: T - Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.Words: 2100Notes: Motorcycles are death traps. Especially those high-potency ones., "Please be careful! I hate you riding that thing on these streets." MC fretted over her husband.Hyun was heading out on his motorbike to head to his agent’s office on the next ward over. The streets are crazy enough in a car, but on a motorbike, it was ten times scarier. He is not a young man anymore, and she worries about his welfare in the busy traffic. She hates siding with Jumin in a dispute of theirs, but he does have a point. They could afford a safer mode of transportation by now. The woman held onto the actor's jacket to pull him down for a kiss. "Jagiya, I'll be fine." He pressed a kiss to her lips before standing back up and walking out the door, getting on the bike and slipping his helmet on. “I’ve never had an accident before. I’m not going to have one today!” “Yeah, you’ve never had one. That means you’re due to having one.” She points out. He chuckled. “Or it means that I’m too hot to hit. See ya!” Hyun speeds down the street, not looking back. "Be careful!" MC shouts after him. Damn her daring husband for living on the edge. It worried her sick every time he left on that thing. She listened as the bike whined as it took off on the road, shaking her head in resignation, and tried not to worry. She grabbed a book from the bookshelf and took a seat in the living room and began to read. It could not have been more than thirty minutes at the most when her cell phone rang. Her husband’s photo, a selfie that he selected himself and regularly changes, appeared on the phones display and she answered right away. "Hey, why are you calling so soon?" She asked before giving him a chance to speak. "I'm sorry. Is this, er, MC Ryu, by any chance?" A male voice spoke, someone else's, not Hyun's voice. "Yes, it’s me." She answered hesitantly. “Who is it?” "Your husband asked me to call you, ma’am. He's been in an accident." Her vision turns dark for a moment. Her hold on the telephone grows looser. "What?! Is he alright?!" "The ‘medics are on their way, but other than maybe a broken leg and cuts and bruises, I think he is okay. He's just in too much pain to speak so he asked me to call." "Did you see it happen? What happened? What caused the accident?" She asks on the same breath. MC wants to scream, to run there on foot. There are so many questions spinning through her head, she can barely make sense of her own thoughts. "I witnessed the accident, yes, ma'am. He was turning onto the road when the bike slid out from under him and he fell.” The person explains, hesitantly. “The bike fell on his leg and pinned it so we're pretty sure it's broken. The paramedics are here now. I'm handing your husband the phone." "Thank you for the call, sir." She said before he handed the phone off. "Princess..." Hyun groaned. MC could hear the pain in his voice, and while she wanted to berate him for being so laissez-faire about his safety, she swallowed it for a more pragmatic approach. "What hospital are they taking you to? I will meet you there." She asked quickly. "I’ll have them take me to a C&R clinic. I’m not too far away from home." He spoke through clinched teeth as the medics put him into the ambulance. “Come quick, please.” She began to tear up now as she listened to his groans and moans of pain. "OK, I'll be there. I’ll have Jaehee prepare ahead. I love you." The woman said and hung up the phone. She shot a text quickly on the messenger and rushed to the hospital. It was right down the street, so she ran there. It would be quicker to run than to get in the car and drive there in this traffic and find a place to park. The ER entrance was on the front side of the hospital along the arterial road and she reached it in just under three minutes with a jog. "I'm Hyun Ryu's wife. I need to see him." The woman stumbled through the words, still rather short on breath. A quick look of recognition passed through the receptionist’s eye. Jaehee, bless her heart, must have read the message and just called to make sure that Hyun receives proper care. "He hasn't arrived yet, ma'am. The ambulance has an ETA of two minutes." The receptionist said. "Please take a seat and we'll let you know when he gets here." She points to the waiting area, but MC cannot sit, she is too nervous. She decides to pace the floor while looking out the windows into the covered deck of the ER entrance parking. Finally, after what felt like the longest two minutes of her life, she saw an ambulance pull up to the door and unload her husband and wheel him inside. "He's here. Can I please see him?" She rushed back to the desk. "We need to let the paramedics get him in a room and the doctors evaluate him before we let you go back." The receptionist said. "I need to see him now. Please, let me back there to see him." She begged. The woman, however, was not moved by her display. "I'm sorry, ma'am, it’s standard procedure. We'll let you know when you can go back." She grumbled under her breath and prayed that she could get back soon. Still pacing the floor nervously waiting for the old bitty to let her back behind the locked doors. Five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes and still no word. MC ran to the front desk again. "Please, I beg of you, let me back there now. I won't be in the way. I just want him to know I'm here." The old woman started to speak again but she already knew the answer. "Yeah, I know, sorry we can't let you do that." She babbles off then starts her pacing again. The paramedics had long since left and she is sure he was probably alone now back there. "Damn it..." She grumbled. Ten more slow minutes passed when the receptionist finally spoke up. "Mrs. Ryu, you can head back now. He's in curtain five." "Thank you!" She pulled opened the buzzing door that the woman had unlocked and did a speed walk to the curtain with a number 5 above it. MC pulls back the curtain and rushes to his bedside. He was awake, just a bit scrapped up and had a few stitches. "Hyun..." She began to cry again. He took her cheek in his large strong hand and wiped away the tears. "Princess, I'm fine. I'm going to be okay." He spoke softly, the pain from his voice was gone now, removed by the meds he had dripping in his IV. "What did they say? Did you break your leg? What happened? Have they taken x-rays yet? How do you feel?" She spat out question after question one behind the other so fast that he could not tell them apart. "Jagiya..." He tried to get she to stop rambling but she couldn't stop. More questions spilled out now. "Princess, I need you to stop talking and listen to me." He placed his long index finger over her lips and looked into her eyes. "I can't. I was so scared, Hyun, and then they wouldn't let me see you and..." She sobbed hard and gasped for air. The actor took her hand and rubbed her arm with his other hand. "Jagiya, please stop crying. It's okay now, you're here and I'm here and we'll both be okay, I promise. I just have a broken leg and it's already wrapped up. I’ll come back tomorrow to get a cast on it and then I'm good to go." His voice was comforting even though she should have been the one comforting him. MC is hurting more than him at the moment, he concluded. "But you're all scratched up and cut up, Hyun. You've got stitches on your forehead and arm." She fusses over him. “What are we going to do about your play, huh? And what if you get a scar?! Are you really in no pain at all?!” "MC, I've had stitches before, and I have broken my leg before. I'll live." He chuckled a bit but a pain stopped him and he wrapped his arm around his chest. "What's wrong? Something hurt?" She fussed again. "I've got road burn and a crack rib but I'll be okay.” MC gave him a stern look. “Really, I will be." He smiled again and looked to her. The doctor came in once more, giving a new target for her anxiety. "I'm Doctor Park. You must be ZEN’s wife." The doctor held his hand out for her to take. They shake on it, politely. "Is he going to be alright?" She asked. "Princess..." The patient said, trying to get her to calm down and not flood the poor doctor with questions. He was laying there, wide awake and alert, but, for some reason, she could not believe him. "He'll be fine.” The doctor assured the woman. “He will need to rest until his leg heals. The cracked rib is a little trickier, but it will heal in time too.” “Are you sure?” She asked, and Hyun suppressed the urge to roll his eyes. The doctor smiled in her direction. “Quite sure. If he follows the recommendations to the letter, he should make a full recovery in up to four months.” “Four months?!” The pale man splutters. “Pretty much. No strenuous activities for a while. No heavy-lifting, driving or overdoing it. The stitches will come put in a week or so if they are healing well. You will be sore but pain meds will help with that.” The doctor then turns to the wife. “Do you think you can keep him still until he heals?" "Me, keep Hyun Ryu still? That has to be a joke." She laughs without humour and looked to her husband, who is smirking. "I'll make him stay still doctor, don't you worry." "So, you mean I have to cancel my travel dates and all my work until I get the cast off?" Hyun sounded anxious already at the idea. "I'm afraid so, if you want to heal at all and get back on your feet." The doctor spoke with a stern look. “You have a broken rib. This could be very serious.” "That's not happening." Hyun scoffed. "Yes, sir, it is certainly happening. You will not be leaving my sight until you are fully healed. And don't even think about ever riding a motorbike again because I’m sending yours to the scraps." She said, pointing at him. "Come on, MC! It was a puddle and I hydroplaned. I couldn't help that. I'm more than skilled enough to drive a motorcycle." He groaned. "Not happening." She spat back. "We'll see..." "Well then, good luck with him. You're going to need it." The doctor said, good-humouredly. "When will he be able to go home?" She asked. "I'd like to finish this bag of meds first then he can leave. I set up an appointment for an orthopaedic to see him tomorrow. The doctor is in the medical building here so you won't have to go too far. I'll check on you later before you go, ZEN. Until then, get some rest." The doctor shook her hand again and left the room. By the time they got home again, it was well past sunset. MC helped Hyun into the house with his crutches, settling him on the sofa and with his leg propped up. "What can I do for you now?" She asks him. "I can think of a few things..." He grinned and patted her backside as she stood close to him. He had not a care in the world, thanks to the heavy pain medicine he was given at the hospital. He knows he will feel his misadventures tomorrow, but he tried not to dwell on it. The woman gasped as he patted her. "No! No strenuous activities, remember?" She narrowed her eyes to look at him. “I can lay down and have you do all the work for me.” He offers. “Hyun!” MC shrieks He just smirked and chuckled silently. Hyun was going to be a handful while he was recuperating.
Zen
Jumin
Cinderella, 3 AMSummary: MC has waited up for her fiancé the entire night. She is tired.Rating: T - Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes. Words: 1500Notes: There are lots of fics about Zen’s fans, taking down 707′s agency or struggling with Yoosung’s video game addiction. Yet, I know few fics talking about the psychological work and struggle to adapt to Jumin’s way of life. Take this as my first knock at this issue., Half a year. MC had been dating the great Jumin Han for half a year. Six months, some one-hundred and eighty days. At least, that is how long it had been on paper. In reality, it should not even crack the lower-sixties. For all his demands and his need to control, he is not exactly the most present of boyfriends. Even when she could see him, when he was physically in front of her, there is times that she wonders whether his mind is focused on her or if her talk about her waitressing job is boring him to tears. The issue is his job, of course. Chairman Han has not taken responsibility over his company in many years, sliding more and more of his attributions at his son. It is not as if being CEO is too demanding a job, or else no-one would want to have it, but things are different when you have to also take on the role as project director and positions at the board of directors of several subsidiaries. Her boyfriend had to manage it all, as well as being the comptroller of the RFA’s treasury, was honestly beyond her, and it is admirable, in a sense. He is passionate about his work, though, and MC would never ever stop him from trying his very best at it. If she had the money and the skills, she would try her hand on something that enriched her life the same way that this competitive, capitalist spirit enriched his. Alas, she had neither the money nor the skill, she was but a humble mortal at the mercy of the city. A humble mortal who had limits to everything, who was tied in a menial job as a waitress at a family restaurant. That was something Jumin seemed to have forgotten. That she is a boring woman, with a boring job, little education and middling looks. That she is nothing like the sort of people he is used to interact. She worked days, from early morning to sunset, and so would arrive home tired and in need of sleep. Her patience to wait for him every night could only stretch so far. It could only last for so long before she gave up, and she was close to that point. Her strong heart to keep going could only stay strong for so long, but it was weakening. Her tears could only fall so many times before she cried them all away, and she does not have many left as it was. What hurt MC most of all was the small thought that grew in the back of her mind every night she laid alone in his too big and too cold bed alone. Do I even still love him? They have only known each other for eleven days before they got engaged, after all. They may have rushed into things, they might not be compatible at all. That thought was more painful than anything. It was more painful than all the times that she caught a look of glazed boredom on his face when she is talking about the faulty coffee machine at the restaurant, or the disappointment she catches in his eyes when she does not know which fork is the salad one. Because, despite whatever runs in his mind at those moments, he never says a single unkind thing towards her. He sticks it out for her, none the wiser that she had been silently questioning her love for him. That evening, some three hours before she would have to wake up again, Jumin arrived at his bedroom. He does not say anything but just stood in the doorway to his room and looked over to her sat up in bed. He had noticed as time went on that the worry in her eyes faded slightly every time that he would look into them. They were dark tonight. Not even the pale light of the moon seeping through his not fully drawn curtains reflected off them like it used to. She had not cried for him that night. Instead, she had just laid there in complete and utter silence waiting for him to come back. He watched her darker eyes flick over his body, checking over his physical state the way she would by placing warm hands in his cheeks in better times, but said nothing. She turned her gaze away from him before laying back down and pulling the covers over her head. MC rolls away, so her back would be facing him should he decide to climb into bed next to her, which he does. He let out a silent breath and tread quiet steps towards the bed and climbed in. Jumin does not miss the way her body tensed when he laid next to his fiancée, something that made him tense as well. She is not meant to tense around him, she is not meant to reject him. She was meant to relieve his tension the same way he was meant to relieve hers. “MC…” He whispered in a breath, but it was as loud as thunder in the absolute silence of the room. There were one million things he wanted to say to her. So many ways he wanted to tell her how much he loved her and how sorry he was. However, he does not say any of them, not a single one. Instead, they continue to lay there in silence again. He wanted to reach out for her. He wanted to pull her into him so that he knew she was safe, so that he knew he was safe. However, even the feeling of his breath on her back made her roll away from him. That hurt. He would take thousands of brutal beatings over the feeling of her moving away from his touch, he would take on the pain of the world instead of feeling the coldness of her indifference towards him. He frowned and moved away from her. “I’m sorry.” He whispered. He rolled over to his other side, matching her position of facing away. “For everything…” A few minutes of murderous silence past. His heart skipped a beat when he felt her shift behind him and it full on leapt out of his chest when he felt her press her front against his back and drape an arm over his side. MC breathed softly against the soft and milky white skin on his back, he could feel all the pain from that spot drifting away, as if she had healing powers. He would not be surprised if she did. His pain would always float away when she was near. “You have to understand that I fully support you in what you do, Jumin. I admire you for it. But you’re always going somewhere I can’t follow you and I’m getting tired of feeling left behind. As much as I wish I could wait forever, my heart just can’t take it. I know I love you. I love you so much, Jumin, I do…” It seemed to him that she was saying it more to convince herself than him but he is not about to go and say anything in that moment. “But I don’t know how I can when you’re not here for me to love. I don’t want to leave you. I don’t want to be without you. I just…” She was cut off by a harsh sobbing shook through her body. The black-haired man rolled over and his arms were immediately around her holding her tightly against his chest, pressing sweet and soft kisses to her where ever he could reach without moving her from his embrace. “I love you.” He whispered. He whispered it again and again after every kiss he left on her body. “I won’t make you wait. I won’t make you cry. I’ll be here. Whenever you need me. Wherever you need me. I’ll be there. I’ll be here. To hold you. To kiss you. To love you. Forever. I can’t lose you, MC.” MC lifted her head and her shiny eyes met his. She noticed the slight sheen that coated those cool grey orbs. “You won’t lose me, Jumin. I don’t expect or want you to stop, I want you to pursue whatever your heart desire. I just want to have you, too.” She whispered sadly. “You have me.” He took her face gently between his hands “all of me. I’m only yours” She could hear the promise in his voice and the desperation for her to believe him. She only nodded and brushed her lips against his and turned her head to kiss his palm. He looked at her and then shifted so his face was buried in her neck. Her fingers began stroking through his hair lulling him to sleep. “We’ll figure it out.” Jumin said, waveringly. “Right?” MC smiled sadly, kissing the top of his head. “Yes. I believe we will.” She does not believe so.
Rating: K+Words: 1815A translation of Neglect No More by U-F-Off [AO3]., Il se souvient d'avoir eu peur. "Oui. Tu as hésité. Tu l'as rassuré. Tu as souri. Tu as vraiment souri.
Je n'aurais jamais à me retourner.
Sleeping on the JobSummary: Jumin’s assistant passes out from exhaustion. When she comes to her senses, she explains why she could not sleep.Rating: K+ - Suitable for more mature childen, 9 years and older, with minor action violence without serious injury. May contain mild coarse language. Should not contain any adult themes.Words: 1500Notes: I was trying to do something with Jumin’s accident and that’s what turned up so... Enjoy!, MC had been at C&R International for two days straight. This is the corporate world and this is South Korea. People have long working hours. C&R International is particularly stringent with its demands towards its employees, too. Forty-eight hours straight is not normal, though.Jumin took notice of it. In fact, everyone noticed it, from their co-workers in the building to the people in the chat. It is concerning. She had been switching from doing work on her laptop to trying to find a book to read to drowning herself in coffee just to stay awake. The boss was pretty sure that she had poured ice water on herself at least once. Yes, he did hire her to replace Assistant Kang, and yes, he has been absent for health-related reasons recently, which has certainly increased her workload pronouncedly. However, he is in the office now, he has been coming consistently to work for a while now, and he is sure that he has not said or done anything that would imply a demand for such crazy hours. Far from it, he is uncharacteristically gracious towards her, more so than with any other. He did not mean for this to happen. He is still rather bitter about the way his prized employee just up and quit to open a damn bakery, but he was not out to get her when he hired and subsequently worked to the bone her business partner. It started out alright. MC would come in, fudge a little with her assignments, ultimately completing her work in a rather timely fashion and then she would leave for the night, just like everyone else. Increasingly, however, she would have one extra hour, and then there were two, and things began spiralling out of control. The first day had been fine, perfectly normal. If Jumin were to point out something out of the ordinary, it would be that she had just seemed a little jumpy throughout the working day. Then when the other assistants got to the desk the next morning and she was still there, one of them mentioned it to him. All throughout the day, he kept an eye on her wherever he could. At one point, he even watched she stare emptily at the pile of papers she had been carrying but dropped. He really started to worry when, upon Ms. Kang’s urging, he came back running the next day, and MC was still there. She was sitting on her station, trying her hardest to find anything to do, trying desperately to stay awake. Now, she is huddled over a piece of paper with a pencil in her hand, wallowing in anger because she had no clue what to write but she really thought that she must write something. He had been watching this go back and forth for a half hour, with her placing the pen on the paper, quibbling some nonsense and ripping the paper apart soon after. Jumin scooted closer to her clearly exhausted form, still huddled over the paper as if it held some great design. “Ms. MC, are you feeling well? You look positively exhausted!” He said, taking stock of her ghastly appearance. She does not answer. “Ms. MC, are you listening to me?” He asked calmly. And then, with a small dry noise, her head dropped to the table, seemingly deep asleep. The businessman looked stunned for a moment. Had she just passed out from sheer exhaustion? Just like that? People even do that? Whatever happened, she is asleep now, but he could not find it in him to leave her laying on the table of the break room. That would be a stain on the company’s reputation, after all. Carefully, Jumin pulled her out, carrying her on a bridal position to his office and laying her down on the couch. As she turns around, still passed out, he briefly considers that someone might have seen him dragging an unconscious woman, an employee of his, no less, to a private room. He did not even consider that optics, and he found that he does not really care. There are other priorities in the moment. After throwing the blanket he normally used for his own power naps at lunch over MC, he considered his next plan of action. What if she woke up and worked herself to the bone like that again? Or what if she woke up and did not know where she was? She could jump into uncomfortable conclusions. He was probably too worried, but after seeing she just pass out like that, he had the right to be. Well, there is nothing to do as of right now. It would have to wait until MC finally wakes up, and it is reasonable and desirable to expect that it will take a while until that happens. Jumin set himself for a day’s work, while his assistant slept soundly on the couch next to him., It was around two in the afternoon. Jumin has just finished with his lunch when he shoots a look at the woman on his couch.MC had not moved an inch, not even twitching in her sleep. If not for her open mouth and the faint sound of breathing, he would think that she was dead. At least she is resting now, and it is better if she does. He rubbed the tiredness off of his face, standing on his feet and stretching for a minute. As if on cue, suddenly she is awake, sitting up and clutching herself with a scream. The black-haired man jumped out of his skin, looking over at her quickly as she curled into herself, starting to cry hysterically. He moved over to her, shushing her as she tried to calm down. “Ms. MC, Ms. MC. It’s fine! You’re fine! Whatever it was, it’s just a dream,” He called, holding her lightly. He has had dreams like this before, waking him up like this. He can sympathise with the experience of facing this sort of terror all on your own. That being said, he is always the one scared, and he never has someone calming him down, and so he is unsure what he must say or do to reassure her and bring her back to reality. ‘It’s just a dream’ seems to have done its trick, and as much as he repeats it, her panic seems to subside and her vision seems to clear up slightly. MC breathed quietly for a moment, trying to compose herself. “Are you feeling any better?” Jumin asked, concern seeping into his voice. The woman nods slightly, her cheeks beginning to colour under the scrutiny. “Do you think that you can get back to sleep?” He inquired further, as a way to offer his couch once again, or to have her be taken home. “No!” She suddenly exclaimed. “No, I… I’ll be fine, I just….” “You didn’t sleep for almost three days, Ms. MC.” Jumin interrupted. “This is not healthy.” She sighed, letting silence fall between them for a moment. Her boss shot her a withering look. “Is that why you weren’t sleeping? Night terrors?” Shamefaced, she nodded. “I’ve been having these nightmares about…” The woman sighs. “I have these nightmares about you and your accident. There’s this car, of 707’s. You’re on the highway, and then…” She shuddered at the memory, trying again to compose herself again. The man hushed her quietly. “Oh. The accident, of course. I’m sorry, I didn’t expect…” He trails off, trying to recompose his thoughts. “When I came to myself, you were all… What I’m trying to say is that I apologise for worrying you. That’s my fault, and I’m ashamed to know that my lack of control has brought you so much trouble.” MC draws a breath. “No! No, Mr. Han, I don’t mean to make you feel guilty, it’s just that…!” “No, it’s fine. You deserve an apology.” He cut her off. “I’m aware of how my actions affect others. That will never happen again, okay? I promise.” She breathed quietly once again, looking up at Jumin. “Okay. I’m sorry, Mr. Han, for disturbing your work day, and thank you for your consideration. I’ll also be more mindful of my health from now on.” He smiled, ever so slightly, but she felt that even that tiny lilt to his lips is a rare and precious sight. “For now, go back to sleep. I’ll have Driver Kim take you home in an hour, and you can come back to work on Monday.” He instructed his employee. MC nodded, closing her eyes and falling asleep almost immediately into a dreamless state of unconsciousness. Jumin pulled up his phone to text his chauffer, but paused for a moment. He gazed at the beautiful form of the sleeping woman in front of him, and wondered how much she cared for him. He made a decision. He must fire MC post haste and return her to Ms. Kang, for her own good.

Bicycle TrainingSummary: Jihyun tries to teach Lucy how to ride a bike. It does not work out so smoothly.Rating: K - Intended for general audience 5 years and older. Content should be free of any coarse language, violence, and adult themes.Words: 1400Notes: Some cutesy family fluff, to get off the usual dourness., Jihyun was having a day with his daughter. Ever since they adopted Lucy, some eighteen months ago, it was the first time that they spend time all on their own, in opposition as a family. He usually had location shots and travelled a lot, while his wife and daughter had the usual demands of sedentary life. Today, however, a fair-weathered Friday, MC was called into work all day. He did not have any shots to complete, and the young daughter of theirs had a half-day at the nursery. So, he was having a full afternoon with his little ray of light all on his own, and he is dedicated to enjoy it to the fullest. She would not be five forever, after all, and seeing that he would soon have to travel abroad and it was going to be very hectic, the teal-haired man knew he needed to spend as much time with his daughter as he possibly could. He thought of it with great care and detail about everything, and it was exciting for the day to finally arrive. He considered what could be more memorable for his daughter. If he asked her, she would probably want to go to the movies or out on the park, but he wants to do something that she will remember, and so he concluded that he really wanted to teach Lucy how to ride her bike and he just knew she was going to love it. As soon as she arrived home, the little girl rushed to Jihyun as she hunted round the house for him. “Papa, what are we doing today? What are we doing today?” She asked, excitedly. He beamed at the girl. “Are you excited? Are you very excited?” “Yes!” She shouts and laughs. “Then I can’t let you be disappointed, my ray of light. We can’t be being bored, now, can we?” He pressed a kiss to her head. “Today, we’re going to play with your bike. I’m going to teach you how to ride it like a big girl, all on your own. If you do well, we can go to the park next week for you to show off your skills. How does that sound?” “Great!” The little girl beamed. “Then go pick it up from the shed. We’ll ride it on the sidewalk, OK?” The man instructed. Lucy did not need any further encouragement, zapping out to fetch her bike., “So, here we have it.” Jihyun pointed to each part on the bicycle as he mentions them by name. “This is the handlebar, you use it to keep your balance and to control where you’re going, and this is the chain, it’s what transfers the movement from your legs to the wheels. These here are stabilisers, we’ll keep them here until you learn how to keep steady on top of it. Got it?”The girl nods, emphatically. “Good. Now, remember: you have to be really careful when you ride on your bike. This is what big girls do, okay?” “Okay!” The girl beamed. Jihyun smiled as he puts knee and elbow pads on so Lucy was protected against any eventualities. “Now, we need this.” He held up the contraction and put it on her head. “This is a helmet. You probably think this is silly, but you need to wear this, so you don’t get hurt. Never, ever, ride a bike without it.” “Papa! Let me ride it now!” She demanded, tired of the safety information. He chuckled. “Okay, okay. Sit on the bike for me, please.” Jihyun smiled at his daughter as Lucy gently climbed onto the bike saddle. “Now, hold on steady for me, and you can begin to pedal.” He instructs, keeping a tight hold on the bike. “Don’t worry. I will be with you every step of the way.” He moved the bike along with her, watching her very carefully, wagering that she was going to be absolutely petrified. To his pleased surprised, however, she was only a little bit wobbly. “Keep going for me, I’m here. You’re doing great, Lucy!” He said, stimulating her to continue. “I’m still here, okay? We’re doing this for a few more times, and then you’re going to try to do it on your own.” “Okay…” The girl responded, a little less confidently than before. “I promise you’ll be okay, little one. I’m not going to let go until I’m sure you’re ready for it.” Jihyun reassured Lucy as she looked back at her father for reassurance. The man went through the perimeter of their sidewalk four more times, holding on the saddle unwaveringly. He began noticing that she was gaining her confidence, having a better control on the balance. It is time to let her try ride on her own. “Right, now you need to hold on as tightly as you can and pedal as fast as you can, because I am going to let you go on your own, okay?” “No! I don’t wanna!” She refuses. “But you need to try it, or else you won’t know if you can do it.” The man argued. “I’m scared. I don’t want to!” She insisted. “C’mon, Lucy, I’m not going to abandon you, I’m just letting go.” He goaded. “I’m still watching over you, I promise.” Lucy wanted to deny him further, but her arguing skills were not so well developed to find an argument other than “I’m scared” and “I don’t want to”, so she acquiesced to her father and nodded. She did as he first instructed and went off of her own, at first going very well. Until, that is, she went around the corner to come back the other way and toppled over off her bike. “Lucy!” Jihyun rushes over to pick up the girl, who was in a heap on the floor with the bike on top of her. “My knee!” She let out in many sobs. “That’s okay, little girl, I’m here. I’m here.” He cooed at the girl, leading her inside to the kitchen. He set her sitting on the sink and ran to the bathroom to pick up the first-aid kit. Evaluating the injuries, the father concludes that she just scraped her leg a little bit, as the pads protected her from the worst of it. He rubbed some antiseptic on it and put on a curative to protect it while the wound closes. “You lied to me.” The girl accused. “Who, me?” The man pretended to be offended. “When did I ever lie to you, my ray of light?” She rose an accusing finger, glaring at her father with all the passion a five-year-old can possibly muster. “You said that I was fine. You said that I wouldn’t get hurt. You lied to me!” Jihyun chuckled. “No, my love, I said that I would be here to help you, not that you wouldn’t get hurt.” “No.” Lucy denied petulantly. “I’m angry with you.” “Don’t be like that, honey.” He smiled brightly at the girl. “We both tried something new, and that’s great! Getting hurt sometimes is inevitable, the important thing is that you have me and your mother to take care of you when you fail.” “But it hurts!” She bemoaned. “What if I kiss it better?” He offers. The girl huffed. “…Fine.” Jihyun gave one kiss in each one of the girl’s knees. “It worked?” “A little bit.” Lucy conceded. “I’m sorry for letting you do this. I thought you were ready to give it a go, but you weren’t. Next time, we’ll be more careful, won’t we?” He apologised with a smile. She did not say anything, but nodded tersely, not keen on trying ride her bike any time soon. “Good girl.” He beamed at his daughter. “Now, let’s forget all that. Let’s watch TV on the couch together and we’ll have some sweets before dinner.” “Mommy don’t let us eat candy before dinner.” Lucy points out. “It’s fine if we don’t do it every day.” He told her. “We won’t tell mommy that we have been eating candy, so she’ll not be mad.” “Okay!” Lucy squealed as she clapped excitedly. Jihyun smirked as he carried his daughter to the living room. Their little farce did not hold much water. Hours later, when MC finally gets home from work, she finds her husband and her daughter, sleeping off on the couch, surrounded by chocolate wrappings.
Et tu lui as vraiment manqué.
